To run a check we use a small set of trusted providers. This page lists them, what each one does for us, and the data it may handle. We keep the list short on purpose and update it when it changes.

Public sources we query
To verify a posting we also look up public reference sources, such as domain registries and a company's own careers board. We send them the domain or link being checked, not your personal information.
